I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating. In typical Aussie style, P Dutty knows how to get it done, or am I thinking of Larry, the Cable guy from around these parts – N Carolina is rubbing off on me! Nonetheless, Phillip is always on a horse, or so it seems, and if he’s not he’s walking courses, or walking/biking between the two! He was working in the warm up this morning, swapped horses with his groom, coached Peter Barry for his three star dressage from Young Man, and yet he never, ever looks ruffled.
As I headed to the sumptuous Fork barn to write this up, he was just entering the arena on Isabella, and he’s down to compete six horses this weekend. I tweeted earlier about the black ecogold saddle pads, I haven’t noticed them before, perhaps they’re custom and only for him, a mark of distinction – I’m sure Patricia will let us know soon! Also, by the bye, EN John really likes Peter’s horse Kilrodan Abbot.
