Phillip Dutton took home top honors in the CIC3* at Red Hills International for a second year in a row thanks to a clean cross-country trip on Mighty Nice that just edged Marilyn Little and RF Smoke on the Water. Just .5 faults meant the difference between first and second place, with time penalties on cross country serving as the final determining factor for who went home with the win. Phillip also took sixth place in the CIC3* with Atlas, showing his anticipated Rolex mounts are in fine form. Samantha Clark reported yesterday that Phillip will give his horses a quiet run at The Fork as a final prep for Rolex, which is just six short weeks away. Go Red Hills.
