Piggy French to ride DHI Topper, not Jakata; British Team reserves announced

Pippa Roome at the Horse & Hound reports that Piggy French will ride DHI Topper for the British team instead of Jakata, who is now on the injured list.  Piggy and Topper won the test event at Greenwich last summer, and the CCI*** at Blenheim, so they should be a formidable pair at the Olympic Games.

 

The British Team reserve list has also been announced, as follows:

  • Sarah Cohen with Treason
  • Laura Collett with Rayef
  • William Fox-Pitt with Parklane Hawk
  • William Fox-Pitt with Neuf Des Coeurs
  • Pippa Funnell with Mirage D’Elle
  • Mary King with Kings Temptress
  • Polly Stockton with Westwood Mariner
  • Francis Whittington with Sir Percival III
  • Lucy Wiegersma with  Simon Porloe
  • Nicola Wilson with Opposition Buzz
