— Sara Kozumplik cashed in big yesterday at Surefire, winning the $10,000 J.C Chester Intermediate Challenge. Sara and the 15 year old gelding, Manolo Blahnik started their day in ninth place but made an impressive climb to first in the jumping phases. With prize money like that, Sara could afford to buy herself several pairs of Manolo Blahniks (as in the shoes, not the horse of course.) The Preliminary and Training levels run at Surefire today, with Novice and Beginner Novice to follow on Sunday.
— Don’t forget that Boyd’s benefit is tonight. The benefit is generously being hosted by Jacqueline Mars and the O’Connors, it should be a great night. Everyone will be there except John– he’s going to to that Miley Cyrus concert he’s had tickets to for over a year.
