We’re big fans of not only Full Moon Farm’s addition of a Modified level this year but also of this beautifully-painted jump recognizing inclusion and equality within our sport. It’s a common argument to say horses are the greatest equalizer — and that’s true, to be sure — but this shouldn’t detract from the very real experiences many people in our community have had that make them feel other than welcome. It’s on all of us to be inclusive and welcoming to any and all humans who want to enjoy this sport with us, and this jump as well as the ongoing dedication of groups like the Full Moon Farm Eventing Foundation continue to show up for those who are marginalized.
