We may be in the thick of Carolina here in the U.S. but over in Europe we also have one of our first FEI looks at the European and UK contingent, who have converged in the Netherlands for the Grandorse CCI4*-S (also known as Kronenberg). It’s an all-out who’s who on the leaderboard, with 72 combinations starting the CCI4*-S division this week.
After two phases and ahead of today’s cross country, Great Britain’s Tom McEwen and his Paris Olympic horse, JL Dublin, are the leaders sitting on a score of 23.5 after adding no faults to their dressage score.
We do also have some U.S. riders competing in the CCI4*-S this weekend, including Tiana Coudray and Cancaras Girl (15th after two phases on a score of 31.9) and D’Artagnan, as well as Hallie Coon and Kapriccio (24th on a score of 35.3),
There is unfortunately no live stream for today’s cross country, but you can follow along with live scoring here.
