It’s cross country day at the Ocala International Festival of Eventing, which features a full roster of levels and a US Equestrian Open Qualifier CCI4*-S! An exciting addition to the Ocala International this year is a live stream on H&C+, which can be viewed here.
Jack Curtis and Becky Curtis’ Luska Candy Clover are on great form this season, finishing sixth last month in the 4*-S at TerraNova and now positioned as the two-phase leaders on a score of 30.1. He’ll have Tamie Smith hot on his heels today, piloting two horses — Jeanne Schigo’s Jump to Day D and Megan Sykes’ Spiro P — out of second and third position following Friday’s dressage and show jumping. It remains to be seen what each of these 4* riders’ plans are in terms of going for the win today, but you can follow along live beginning at approximately 11:35 a.m. EST.

Meanwhile in Maryland, Caroline Pamukcu and The Double Sixteen Partnership’s HSH Double Sixteen took home the win in the one-day formatted US Equestrian Open qualifier 4*-S at Fair Hill International. Caroline and “Six” were the sole pair to really put the pedal down on cross country, resulting in a finish on their dressage score of 37.7. This win adds to Caroline’s pile of US Equestrian Open series leaderboard points, with 40 to add to her existing 145. You can view full US Equestrian Open standings here.
Boyd Martin topped off the podium with his two rides, OHP Hammertime Partners’ Miks Master C (heading soon to MARS Badminton) and Dallas LLC’s Shanroe Cooley. Full scores from Fair Hill can be found here.
