We have another Jimmy Wofford Legacy Fund Scholarship in the works! Congratulations to Cassidy Thompson and her horse Hector on receiving a scholarship to compete at Spokane Sport Horse H.T.’s Classic Three-Day in Washington! “Hector and I are thrilled to be recipients of this year’s Wofford Scholarship for the Spokane Classic 3-Day Event,” Cassidy shared. “This will be our first classic 3-Day together! Hector is a remarkable cross-country horse; he gives his all and covers the ground with enthusiasm. We are eagerly anticipating the added challenges that the classic format will bring. I feel incredibly fortunate to have him as my first eventing partner. The Wofford Scholarship, honoring the legacy of Jimmy Wofford, empowers us to continue growing and developing as a team, paving the way for more classic 3-Day events in our future. Jimmy’s passion for the sport and his commitment to excellence inspire us both. Horses and this sport have brought me immense joy and confidence, and I am endlessly grateful for this opportunity.”
Good luck to Cassidy and Hector as they tackle a new challenge. If you’re interested in a scholarship or donating to future scholarship awards via the Jimmy Wofford Legacy Fund, click here.
