Saturday Morning Links

Good Morning Eventing Nation! The bad news of the weekend is that if you’re on the East Coast, you are probably going to get rained on. If you’re on the West Coast, you are probably going to get rained on. Basically, if you are anywhere in the Continental United States, you’d best pack the rain coat. But don’t let the rain dampen your spirits because this should be a great weekend of Eventing.

The Florida International CCI*/CCI** began on Thursday with the one-star dressage, so all the competitors will be looking forward to cross country today. Coren has been doing a great job with the recaps thus far, and we will most likely get another from her later on today. But until then, here are the Live Scores One of the interesting things about this weekend is that there is some truly international competition at Florida International, in the form of New Zealander Joe Meyer. Joe is a top level event rider based in England, but he’s come over to the US for a final few weeks of preparation before heading to Rolex with his horse Snip. Along with riding Snip in the Advanced CT, he’s riding a few lower level horses as well.
There are many other events running this weekend, across the country. Here they are:
Corona del Sol HT (TX) Live Scores
St Johns HT (AZ) Live Scores
Ram Tap HT (CA) Live Scores
Plantation Field HT (PA) Live Scores
River Glen HT (TN) Entry Status [PDF]
Now, here are your links:
That’s all for now, Eventing Nation. I’ll be back in a little while with some form of a post, and we also have a guest blog scheduled for later today to look forward to.
Go Eventing.
