Good Morning Eventing Nation, and welcome to Sunday! Ready your rabbit’s feet, four leaf clovers, and lucky socks and let’s start hoping for a good day of jumping from the North American contingent at Burghley! I think this overseas trip has been one of the best so far for our team as a whole, seeing as four/five of the Americans finished the cross country, and two/three Canadians, that’s a better average then we’ve had at Burghley the past two years. Kyle and Michael had their misfortunes, but for both it seems to be a case of ‘bitterly disappointing but (relatively) easily fixed’. Kyle will reroute to Blenheim next week while Michael will re-route Icarus somewhere– just as soon as his wrist is mended! Good luck to everyone, you know we’ll be watching closely.
