Tom McEwen and JL Dublin won their first FEI of the year this weekend at Grandorse (Kronenberg) in the Netherlands, finishing on their dressage score of 23.5 to set sail on what should be a supremely exciting season on all fronts for us eventers. We’re not quite sure which path the Brits will be taking to catch the eyes of the selectors for World Championships this August, but a podium sweep for the reigning Olympic team champions is a good sign for things to come.

Training Tip of the Day
Ok, maybe not a *brief* training tip today, but we highly recommend watching the Road to the Horse competition in Kentucky (not the least because our own eventing kind, Elisa Wallace, is one of the competitors!). Here’s the live stream replay of the colt starting competition’s second day. Competition wraps up tomorrow.
