Good Morning Eventing Nation, and welcome to Sunday. Plantation Field Horse Trials is wrapping up today, just after the winners are decided. Marilyn Little-Meredith certainly has made a strong return to US Eventing after a summer in Europe; she’s leading the CIC*** with Rovano Rex on a 54.9. Boyd Martin is just behind with Remington on a 55. As their fans know, Peter Atkins and ‘Henny’ have been reunited this year and currently sit in third place going into the show jumping.
As a note regarding Lucia Strini’s fall yesterday in the CIC** aboard Altair’s Luck: she went to the hospital and is a bit banged up, but we are glad to say that she should be just fine. Also, we want to give a big ‘get well soon’ to EN’s Abbie who had a fall in the warmup at Plantation and had to take a trip to the hospital but has since been released with a few stitches.
The scores for the weekend are:
Flying Cross Farm HT [Times, Scores]
Plantation Field CIC [Times, Scores]
Coconino HT [Times and Scores]
Marlborough HT [Times and Scores]
Dunnabeck HT [Times and Scores]
Windy Wyoming HT [Ride Times]
