Good Morning Eventing Nation! I’m sure there are many more interesting and relevant ways to introduce a news post, but because it’s late and I have an early morning, I’ll go with what I know. Boyd’s benefit turned out to be a great evening, the jury’s still out on how much money was raised but considering the number of people in attendance and the prices that most of the live auction items fetched, I think the benefit served its purpose well. Once the auction was finished and the bar was sufficiently drained, the dancing began. Boyd, Coleman, and Doug Payne stuck it out on the dance floor with all the girls, if I were Simon Cowell I’d say Boyd was a 4, Doug a 3, and Coleman a 1.5. If I wasn’t the kind person I am I’d probably have posted the incriminating photos of all this dancing, but I think I’ll save the black mail for when it really counts.
