Have you heard of Howdaa? This new educational website launched by Meg Kep and Dana Romano seeks to serve as a resource to learn from equine experts. Howdaa is hosting a Working Student Bootcamp next month at Sinead Halpin’s barn in Long Valley, N.J., where 10 lucky people will serve as honorary working students for an entire weekend. I am super pumped that I was selected to be one of those working students. We’ll be learning all aspects of how to be a working student, from barn management and nutrition to equine first aid and grooming techniques for competitions. I’ll be blogging about the entire experience to bring you a firsthand look at what it’s like to be a working student in Sinead’s barn. Go eventing!
