Omega Alpha’s Thursday Afternoon Notes

It’s a quiet Thursday afternoon around Eventing Nation.  It’s Memorial Day weekend in the USA and there are just 5 USEA events this weekend, which means that this will be one of the quietest weekends of the past few months.  Here are a few quick notes we are keeping an eye on around the eventing world today:

Intermediate Riders: Don’t Forget To Enter the Surefire Horse Trials $10,000 John C. Chester Challenge

A woman driving a horse and carriage was turned away from a McDonald’s as a “health and safety hazard”–Let me just say for the record that deem McDonald’s food to be a considerably larger health and safety hazard than a horse and carriage.  Still, it is delicious.  The woman simply went across the street to KFC, where she was greeted by employees as their only customer of the day.
