One Big Thing: Grant Opportunity for Area IX Riders
The Event at Archer is thrilled to offer two grants in 2026 to support eventers in USEA Area IX, aimed to encourage growth, participation, and excellence within the eventing community while contributing to the visibility and success of Area IX. Open to both professionals and amateurs of all ages, the committee invites eligible participants to apply and share how this grant could make a difference in their eventing journey.
Grant Details
The committee will award one grant of $2000 and one of $1000 to active USEA Members in Area IX, regardless of professional or amateur status.
Applicants will be asked to provide a brief overview of their eventing experience, contributions to the promotion of the sport, and any previous participation in The Event at Archer (if applicable). They will also be expected to detail a plan for usage of the funds, if awarded, and how the grant would help the applicant achieve their goals in eventing and promote the Event at Archer and Area IX.
[Applications can be found here — last day to submit is May 5, 2026] Winners will be announced at the Spring Event at Archer’s Competitor Party on May 30.
