After the WEG recap session, I praised the USEF, Mark, Phillip, Karen, and Becky for telling their side of the WEG story with frankness and at times emotion. I have taken a fair amount of criticism over the past couple of days for “drinking the USEF’s Kool-Aid,” as one commenter put it, which is hard for me to imagine from anyone who read my posts right after the WEGs. The good news is that Ecogold filmed the riders’ speeches so you can judge things for yourself. Becky in particular gets really emotional.
