BE Prepared is British Eventing’s new learning and development initiative, created to support riders, coaches and owners across every stage of their eventing journey. Built around expert guidance, practical training, and accessible digital learning, it provides a supported pathway into the sport and helps riders prepare with confidence.

Open to both members and non-members, BE Prepared is delivered through British Eventing’s Training Foundation (BETF), our new foundation dedicated to supporting education, development and best practice across the sport.

Whether you’re entering your first BE80, returning to eventing after a break, or looking to develop your knowledge as you move up the levels, BE Prepared offers structured, welfare-led support for both horse and rider. The program brings together coaching expertise, equine professionals, and evidence-based guidance to promote safe, enjoyable and informed participation.

BE Skilled

BE Skilled brings together the technical knowledge, phase-specific skills and competition understanding that riders need to progress safely and confidently in eventing through video series covering Fundamentals, Dressage, Show Jumping, & Cross Country.

Training Camps

Alongside the online hub, BE Prepared will offer two-day regional training camps led by experienced British Eventing coaches. Each camp blends Mounted Coaching, Workshops & Demos, and Expert Q&A Sessions, with topics including Rider Fitness, Horse Welfare & Management, Techniques, and other topics such as tack fitting, nutrition, and season planning.

Open to members and non-members over 18, the camps are a brilliant opportunity to learn, practice and enjoy eventing as part of a like-minded community.
