Shandiss Wewiora is one of many riders wearing their helmets today
I filmed 4 rides this morning and two of them are in the lead–which is testament to luck and EN Karma. One of those was Will Coleman and Zipp, who put together a lively forward test to take the lunchtime lead in the CCI*. The CCI* and CCI2* are running simultaneously today but both rings are in the main arena, making for a great spectating experience.
CCI* Lunchtime Scores:
1. Will Coleman and Zipp 41.4
2. Kyle Carter and Chesterland’s Knockout 51.2
3. Erin MacDonald and Tobiaz 53.2
4. Elizabeth Ricklefs and Snap Decision 54.1
5T. Shandiss Wewoira and Rockfield Grant Juan 55.8
5T Lindsay Beer and Karma 55.8
–Kyle Carter was part of the three stooges musketeers trailer ride up from Ocala, Florida along with Jon Holling and Leslie Law. Kyle made the trip well worth it today with a 51.2 and sits in second. Kyle is coming back from the tough fall and a broken wrist at Red Hills earlier this year, but you’d never know it from his riding.
–Canada holds 4 of the top 6 positions in the CCI* at the lunch break, with Kyle, Erin, Shandiss, and Lindsay all riding for the fighting maple leafs.
I’ll be back shortly with the CCI2* morning report and until then, go eventing.
