Liz Halliday-Sharp and Fernhill By Night
Show jumping is underway here at Boekelo, and Liz Halliday-Sharp and Fernhill By Night just jumped for Team USA, pulling one rail at 4A, a square oxer, early in the course. The main arena resembles a swamp after all the rain from the previous days, and Blackie jumped well through the messy slop. We’ve seen just two clear rounds so far, and we have a long break before Boyd Martin and Trading Aces jump, as the second group doesn’t start until 2 p.m. local time, which is about two hours from now.
