Eventers are always looking for their next superstar, and many of us prefer OTTBs as our drug of choice. I’m guilty of trolling the CANTER PA listings daily in my search for a great eventing prospect. The new Thoroughbred Alliance Show Series is enabling us OTTB addicts by providing an excellent calendar of Thoroughbred-only shows for 2013, complete with year-end awards and a fancy banquet. These shows will provide many opportunities to get some mileage on your future event prospects this year. While the shows only serve the mid-Atlantic region, we hope other Thoroughbred-only show series like this one will eventually spring up around the rest of the country.
