Both Liz Halliday-Sharp and Clark Montgomery’s horses passed the second trot up for Team USA this morning at Boekelo. From the jog photos we’ve seen, it looked like another misty morning, but conditions have since cleared up for the top 43 to show jump.

Four horses were withdrawn prior to the jog: Padraig McCarthy and Simon Porloe, Andreas Ostholt and Pennsylvania 28, Serena Campanini and Rich Edward, and Annabel Wigley and Frog Rock. All horses that presented to the ground jury passed, sending a total of 62 horses on to show jumping.

High Performance posted on Facebook that Clark’s 20 penalties on cross country might be reviewed again in the morning, but, unfortunately, those penalties are still on the leaderboard. That puts Clark and Loughan Glen in 31st and Liz and Fernhill By Night in 33rd going into show jumping.
