The Maryland International CCI and Horse Trials is making a major move in 2026.
Thanks to a transformational gift to the Maryland International Equestrian Foundation from an anonymous donor, the Maryland International at Loch Moy Farm will offer an unprecedented $100,000 in FEI prize money this summer, representing a significant jump from its previous $30,000 purse and a boost that places the event among the premier summer fixtures on the U.S. eventing calendar.
The Maryland International CCI and HT + Young Rider Championships will return to Loch Moy Farm in Adamstown, Maryland, June 26–28, 2026, with entries opening Tuesday, May 12. This year’s event also marks the 20th anniversary of the Maryland Horse Trials, adding a little extra pomp — and, apparently, quite a bit of extra prize money — to an already important weekend for the East coast eventing community.
The 2026 edition will offer FEI divisions from CCI1*-S through CCI4-S*, alongside National divisions from Training through Advanced. With the Young Rider Championships also on the schedule, the weekend is expected to draw a strong mix of established riders, developing horses, owners, and young athletes from across the country.
