What’s been going on in the exciting world of competition this weekend? With the combined efforts of the Great Meadow WEG prep trial and the multitude of levels competing at Rebecca Farm, this weekend will be one for the history books. As you can see above and below, Team USA had some serious fun yesterday playing in a legit polo match against the Beverly Equestrian team. Beverly hosted the US Eventing Team for a relaxing evening of polo last night with Team USA members Hannah Sue Burnett, Lynn Samansky, Sinead Halpin and Doug Barnes going head to head against Team Beverly’s David O’Connor, Lauren Keiffer, Nate Chambers and Matt Sekera. Team USA won the closely contested match 4 to 3. I’ve tried polo before, and it is ridiculously difficult, so kudos to those kids for killing it!

Hawley Bennett Awad had a great day, winning the Novice Three Day, and scored a 47.1 in the CIC3* at Rebecca Farm to lead the division! “What a great day!!!! High Duty double clean and winning the Novice 3 Day, and a personal best with the Juicer!!!!”
