Today’s post comes from chilly Vermont, where loyal EN reader Lila Gendal is still steadfastly freezing her butt off! Thanks Lila for the submission, and thanks for reading!
Hi, I’m Lila Gendal and I live/train/ride at Tamarack Hill Farm in Strafford Vt, and this horse is Beaulieu’s Cool Skybreaker, a coming 8 year old gelding by Beaulieu’s Coolman, who’s by Quidam de Revel, and out of a Heatbreaker mare. He is owned by Denny Emerson and I have been lucky enough to start competing him. He is a little green in eventing, but seems to feel right at home jumping in the ring like his relatives! This past summer, I jumped Skybreaker around 4’11” and was on cloud nine! After jumping him that big I felt like going novice, possibly training this summer would be a walk in the park! This horse has a yellow lab temperament and a jump you’ll never forget! I wanted to share with my number one favorite eventing site — Eventing Nation! Thank you EN!
