Hi everyone!  I am extremely honoured to have been asked to write for EN, and really hope you will enjoy reading about my exploits across the pond.  I’ve got a fantastic team this year – both equine and human – and am looking forward to the season kicking off.  Out of Africa won’t be contesting Badminton this year; he doesn’t owe me anything and we have decided instead to focus our attention on some CIC3*’s.  He is in great shape though and feeling as full of beans as ever so hopefully we will both have a lot of fun doing that.  Having sold my 3* horse Longwood last year, there now quite a gap between Zul (Out of Africa) and the rest of the team…but they are no less exciting.  Lady Bamford has given me another lovely horse to rider (having sold her wonderful Dumbleton last year), and Dubai Cruise will be aiming for a spring CIC*, alongside my old landlady Pat Blanchard’s talented youngster Fleeting Meeting.

White Heather Eventing is also the proud owner of two very promising young horses, which I found after a lengthy search in Germany last year.  Having sold a number of horses well last year I really wanted to develop this side of my business further, which led to the creation of the syndicate.  The aim is to produce and sell some really quality young horses, to run alongside a potential Rio 2016 horse.  Exciting!

Once again I do hope you enjoy reading my little snippets, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in any of the horses, or being part of the team in any way.  Have a great season!

Charlotte x
