Exciting news, EN! In a joint effort between PRO, Equiventures LLC, and What’s Up Media Group Inc., a new live streaming service will be launching at this year’s Best. Event. Ever., otherwise known as Plantation Field on September 20 and 21.
PRO TV will offer expert commentary along with a highlight and live streaming service – something that North American eventing desperately needs. PRO TV will be sending teams to both Plantation Field as well as Galway Downs in October, with commentary provided by Spencer Sturmey and Samantha Clark.
Allison Springer, the president of PRO, is thrilled with the new project, and thinks it will be a great addition to the eventing scene here in the U.S. “There is an unmet demand for consistent broadcasting of eventing. We are all looking forward to producing high quality video coverage of these great competitions, which will allow so many more people who love eventing to follow the sport no matter where they are,” she said in a press release set forth by PRO.
The PRO TV live stream will be available on the Livestream website and mobile apps, as well as in embedded content on event websites. Be sure to visit PRO’s Livestream page and/or download the app from iTunes or Google Play.
This service will be a huge benefit for eventers all around the country, especially those of us who are unable to attend some of the premier events throughout the season. With services such as PRO TV and USEF Network for Rolex, the technological future of bringing even more fans into the sport is looking brighter and brighter.
