So. Much. Snow. That seems to be the theme of the weekend as #Snowpocalypse2016 slammed the East Coast that has claimed as many as 14 lives and left thousands digging out from beneath huge snow drifts.

One of the biggest concerns with this much snow is the collapsing of roofs under the additional weight. Horse people all over have been working hard to keep snow cleared from their roofs to the best of their ability. A barn in Poolesville, Md. was reported to have partially collapsed, displacing over 30 horses.

Several areas have declared a state of emergency following a shutdown of many services such as travel and road clearing due to hazardous conditions. As Monday begins, most cities are beginning to the arduous process of cleaning up.
