Some very exciting news! The USEA has announced that my personal favorite Mary King will be the keynote speaker at this year’s annual meeting in Colorado Springs, CO. The 2012 Meeting is scheduled for December 5-9 at The Broadmoor, and the USEA is incredibly excited to welcome someone with a wealth of experience such as Mary.

We all know that Mary King is an Eventing Legend, but did you know that she started riding at the age of six, and supplemented her horsey funds by cleaning houses, cooking and delivering meat for the local butcher? Seems even superstars have to start at the bottom! Mary completed her first Badminton in 1985, finishing seventh, and won the event in 1992 as well as 2000. She has been part of six gold medal teams at the WEG and the European Championships, and personal British Champion four times. Mary has been to a mind boggling six Olympic Games, obviously most recently in London for the team silver and fifth individually.

If you are interested in attending the Annual Meeting and Convention registration opens October 1 (tomorrow!) on THIS WEBSITE or you can download a registration form on THIS WEBSITE.
