One Big Thing: Time is running out to enter our Horse Heroes contest with Five Star Eventing Tours
Want to experience the thrill of Defender Burghley for yourself? We’ve got just the ticket… Photo by Hannah Cole Photography.
It’s March (yes, that’s insane, and no, we are not okay), which means we’re ticking closer to the entry deadline to our Horse Heroes contest in partnership with Five Star Eventing Tours! Five Star Eventing Tours, a tourism group founded by Canadian rider, chef d’equipe, High Performance advisor and more Gregg Paull, is heading to Defender Burghley CCI5* at the end of August, and you can join for this inaugural trip!
This Defender Burghley experience with Five Star Eventing Tours means your trip is well planned out and thought of — without you having to do any of said planning or thinking. You’ll experience Burghley up close and personal with great seats to all of the action, an invitation to dinner in the iconic Burghley House, access to Members Only areas for some rest and restoration when you’ve been out and about all day, and so much more. Oh, and your accommodations and transport to them from Heathrow airport is also taken care of as a part of this trip.
Sounds pretty ideal, right?
You can peruse the Five Star Eventing Tours Burghley offering here and use code “GoEventingBHT” when booking your trip to receive a discount off the price of the experience. The Burghley experience starts at just under $6,000 (which, remember, includes your accommodations and VIP access to Defender Burghley, so all you’ll need to do is arrange your flights and, of course, save some dollars for shopping, etc. during the trip), and you can also still enter our Horse Heroes contest for a chance to win a spot at no cost to yourself (some conditions apply)!
This year’s Five Star Eventing Tours trip will take place August 31-September 7, and if you’ve been looking for a way to experience one of the greatest three-day events in the world, but haven’t been sure how, this might just be the (literal) ticket.
Click here to enter the Horse Heroes contest before March 15. A panel including Five Star Eventing Tours’ Greg Paull, EN’s Sally Spickard and Burghley riders Simon Grieve (GBR), Jessica Phoenix (CAN) and Monica Spencer (NZL) will be judging the entries to determine the winner of this contest, and the winner will be announced no later than April 1 here on EN.
See the full itinerary for this year’s Five Star Eventing Tours trip to Defender Burghley here, and don’t forget about our code, “GoEventingBHT” to save on your booking (if booked by April 10).
