If you’re a West Coast rider wanting to try your hand at arena eventing — especially after such an exciting weekend at the Grand Prix-Eventing Showcase — now’s your chance! Saddle up for an unforgettable weekend at Brookside’s Equestrian Park First Arena Eventing, happening March 28-29 at Brookside Equestrian Park in Elk Grove, CA.
Kick off the spring season with two action-packed days of arena eventing excitement, where the precision of show jumping meets the boldness of cross-country as one thrilling course inside the arena. Although the event is to be run in accordance with USEA rules, all classes will have an option of a Joker fence (3″ taller than the max height of division) for time taken off of your round.
The Arena Eventing will run levels from ground poles through Modified on Saturday and Sunday, with schooling available on Friday, as well as a course walk with the course designer and judge Earl McFall.
