One for the future?

Erin Buttigieg rode Kim Smith’s Harley in the Peter Gray clinic this past weekend. She rode in the “Just the Beginning” group but that was more for Harley’s benefit than her own.  She keeps her horse down the road at the lovely Flying Cross Farm, and last year’s goal was to compete at intermediate level, which she did, returning to Chattahoochee after placing 3rd at the Prelim level AEC there.  Due to a strict budget that gets spent mostly on her horse, dog and cats, she trains occasionally with Martha (Lambert), and with Stephen Bradley when she can afford to.  With some 15 years of race track experience under her belt I’d wager a bet she could achieve just about anything she wanted, that’s some tough schooling. Her ultimate goal is the Olympics, but keep an eye out for her around Area VIII this spring and summer, and at Fairhill in the autumn, especially now that she’s earned her EN karma. Thanks for talking to us, Erin, Good luck, and GO Eventing!
