How did it get to be the end of May already? I honestly don’t know where April and May went. I mean, I remember my friends heading out to the events we always do at that time of the year, but they were only gone for like … five minutes. I think this relentless pace that the clock is keeping is a manifestation of the existential dread that my fast-approaching 35th birthday is bringing.

Chinch and I were talking, and he says it’s a perfectly reasonable reaction to a milestone birthday to buy myself a horse trailer, as long as there are living quarters and a full sized bar. I see no problem with this either. My husband on the other hand says I’m daft to take advice from a chinchilla.
