Happy Saturday Eventing Nation! Today marks the one week out date for me, as I’m leaving the frigid north in search of sandy warm lands next Saturday! I’m excited, but I’m also realizing that I’m incredibly behind in a lot of things, such as renewing my drivers license, getting my truck inspected, and organizing my house and barn before I leave for two months. I’m also really into cooking and baking, so should I bring all of my cooking supplies to Aiken or is that too weird? Also, how do I possibly ensure that my horses arrive looking spic & span (my personal obsession: equine cleanliness), when they insist on rolling deep into a mud pit every day until I have to hose off their heads and necks? #Equestrianproblems
