It’s the last couple days before many of us head back to the office on Monday, and it’s looking like a football filled weekend for me as I am spending the weekend in Kansas City cheering on the Chiefs. I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few days reflecting on what I have to be thankful for, as I am sure you all have, and I’ve come to the conclusion that sometimes the smallest gestures and events that you experience become the ones that are the most important. The photo I used for today’s links embodies that sentiment, as Hawley Bennett has kept her recently retired four-star horse, Livingstone (“Hank”), in light work teaching some very fortunate little girls who will no doubt be learning from the best. Certainly it is people like Hawley and horses like Hank who continue to give others something to be thankful for.
