Happy Sunday Eventing Nation! I’m taking over for Jenni today because, frankly, I’m surprised her fingers haven’t developed arthritis yet with all the writing she’s doing at The Fork this weekend! I think despite the fact that the stabling is under about a foot of nasty thick soupy mud, everybody I’ve talked to is having a great weekend, and today promises to be very exciting. The scores are so tight in each division that it really gets fun with the final placings coming down to seconds on the cross country clock!
Amidst the joy of competition this weekend, we must express our condolences to friends and family of Lucy Eddins, a long time Event & pure Dressage judge, who passed away yesterday. Rest in peace, Lucy, and our community will miss you dearly.
