This spring I’ve been slowly bringing my semi-retired event horse back into work. There have already been hills and valleys — he’s a spooky guy that loves nothing more than a buck and spin, so getting him back into full form has been interesting to say the least. Hills and fitness work finally paid off this week as we enjoyed our first jump lesson in nearly two years, and it felt like we never skipped a beat. Time to go back to work, fat pony!
