Reader Jon Bicho captured this photo during the trail ride portion of the Furlongs to Fences event that took place at Fair Hill over the weekend. (That set of ears belongs to 24-year-old OTTB Cheer Cheer.) Jon reports, “There were 32 thoroughbreds that rode through Fair Hill and the training center. Some thoroughbreds went out on the track and galloped.” Only one person got run off with, we hear–and it was allegedly intentional!
The weekend-long event included Saturday’s Fair Hill Thoroughbreds For All, featuring a sale and educational activities, and the Furlongs to Fences Thoroughbred Horse Show on Sunday.
Go eventing on an OTTB!!!
