Tuesday News & Notes from Cavalor

Dance parties, beer gardens AND eventing? My three favorite things in the world, and they’re all coming together this weekend at the inaugural CHC International at Chattahoochee Hills.

Our friends at Cavalor are in on the action, sponsoring a VIP tent that will be offering SweetWater beer to the two- and three-star riders all weekend and a champagne-and-Belgian-chocolate reception open to ALL riders and owners on Friday. VIP tent ticketing info is available here.

Thank you, CHC International, Cavalor and the event’s other sponsors, for making all of our wildest dreams come true. For more information visit the CHC International website here and the event’s Facebook page here.

Ag-Gag Bill Veto: Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam vetoed his state’s so-called anti-whistleblower “ag-gag” bill, which calls for anyone taking pictures or photographs of animal abuse to turn over all evidence to law enforcement within 48 hours. In particular, animal welfare groups concerned about abuses within the Tennessee Walking Horse community worried it would impact their ability to investigate. [Horse Talk NZ]
