Tuesday News & Notes from Cavalor

I saw a link to this Chronicle of the Horse forum post on Facebook and had to share because it’s pretty hilarious. Several eventers on the forum chimed in with their own measurements (“Training is my hip, Prelim is my belly button, Intermediate is the bottom of my bra”), personal anecdotes (“I remember one event I was upgrading and, after walking the course with my friend, we went and cried to our coach because one fence was boob height. My jumping comfort zone is crotch height.”) and insights (“Well look, when you get older this will all sound less intimidating because boob height will approach crotch height. So don’t give up.”) If at some point today you’re in need of a good laugh, go read the human-tape-measure thread in its entirety here.
