British young rider Pumbaa Goess-Saurau posted this on Twitter today and it made me giggle: Clearly, heinously early horse show mornings are a universal eventing truth. Pumbaa isn’t a snooze-button kind of girl–she piloted Killcoran Blue to a 12th place finish at the Pony European Championships last month; you can check out a video of them ripping around the cross-country course here.

Only one week after his sale to U.S. owners, Tabasco TSF and new rider Marilyn Little finished sixth in Germany’s Hambach CIC** on their dressage score. As Jenni reported last week, Tabasco TSF was formerly campaigned by Ingrid Klimke through the 3* level. A big thanks to Fiona Lloyd for the tip! [Hambach]
