With the World Equestrian Games rapidly approaching, the USEF Eventing High Performance team has updated its website with pertinent information for the team and any other curious readers.
The selection trials for the U.S. team have been laid out, and we are all anxiously awaiting the start of the 2014 season so that the team can begin to take shape. The last day to apply for consideration to be on the U.S. team for WEG is March 15, 2014, after which a hefty late fee is assessed until the final deadline of March 25.

This memo outlines each and every detail of the selection process for the WEG Eventing team. The Rolex Kentucky CCI4* and the Jersey Fresh CCI3* will serve as the tryout events in the USA, and many horses and riders will be heading overseas to contest the European selection trials.
The dates for the winter training sessions were released yesterday. Three of these sessions, one each in Ocala, Aiken and the UK, will include veterinary evaluations for the horses named to the Global Talent, World Class and National lists.
