We have all heard of that other equestrian Olympic discipline–pentathlon. Swim, Fence, Ride, Run, Shoot. I tend to think all of those things are pretty cool, but it would be better if they had to do all of the phases at once, against each other, wearing armor, and to the death. In the modern pentathlon format, riders draw horses from a pool of horses that is made available at the event.
