I am a shameless eventing history nerd! What can I say! But even if you just want a quick bit of entertainment, these are great for some terrifying fences, even more terrifying ‘helmets’, and a slightly bonkers frame rate that makes everything look like it should have a comedy soundtrack over the top. I’ve just walked this year’s Badminton course, and I’m even more delighted than ever that the vast majority of what I saw was collapsible or deformable in some way — a far cry from the courses of old!
