We’re loving all of the hunting footage that is emerging throughout the eventing off season, and this helmet cam posted by Helen Newbold from a hunt with Farmers Bloodhounds is our favorite video yet!
Our first observation from this helmet cam is how comfortable her horse’s canter and gallop look. Of course, it’s always a bit difficult to really gauge when viewed from a head cam, but we’re going to say that this horse is a pretty cool ride.
Second, you absolutely must watch until at least the 2:19 minute marker, because one of the biggest hedge we’ve ever seen on a hunt video emerges from the fog. Will this pair make it over? You’ll have to watch to find out — and make sure to take note of her reaction on the other side.
