It’s a busy weekend around Eventing Nation, so there is plenty of action to wrap up from the live scores today. Cindy Wood has been gracious enough to send us some photos from the Heart of the Carolinas/Southern 8ths competition. As always, remember that you can always send us photos from your event to [email protected], tweet us @eventingnation, tag us on Instagram @goeventing, or post it on our Facebook wall.

Southern 8ths hosted a Beginner Novice – Training 3-Day this weekend. Jamie Meiss and Dominieren triumphed in the T3D, Elisabeth Fouche and Carlos won the N3D, and Theresa Shahan and Simply Duchess won the BN3D. Congratulations to all competitors and winners!

It has also been a busy weekend in Texas, where Greenwood Farm hosted their spring horse trials. Heather Morris had a great weekend in the CIC2*, winning aboard Mike Huber’s Europop and taking fourth on Biara G. Tamie Smith and the lovely Sunsprite Syrius won the CIC* on their dressage score; this is a very exciting young horse – be on the look out for an EN’s Got Talent article soon!

Alex Green had a triumphant weekend in Georgia at Poplar Place, where she finished 1-2 with Fernhill Cubalawn and Falkonet in the Open Intermediate. Alex was headed to her first Rolex with Fernhill Cubalawn when she decided to withdraw after a rocky run at The Fork. Alex should be thrilled with her weekend, and I’m sure we will see her and her talented horses at the top in no time.

At MCTA, Sally Cousins won the Advanced aboard Westerly after adding 12.4 time to their dressage score. Ashley Leith and Tactical Maneuver took second and Debbie Foote and Fly Me Courageous round out the top three. Kim Severson’s Cooley Cross Border handily won the Open Intermediate, followed by Kate Chadderton and Bucharo and Waylon Roberts and Bill Owen.
