British Eventing’s Eventing Cinema competition provides videographers the opportunity to showcase their skills by capturing the essence of the sport. The YouTube competition garners many entries, and this year’s winner has been crowned.
We’ve shared the video creations of YouTube user David Robinson (harveywetdog) here on EN previously, and we’re pleased that he’s been named the winner of this year’s Eventing Cinema competition with his compilation video from the Gatcombe Festival of British Eventing earlier this year.
David also won the “Winner of the Month” competition in August, which scored him tickets to Burghley this year. By winning the cumulative competition, David will receive a £1000 prize package from British Eventing and HorseHub.
“There are two principle motivations behind my videos,” David said in a release from British Eventing. “Firstly I simply want to attract viewers to the Harveywetdog channel but secondly, and more artistically, I’m looking for that perfect combination of light, horse, rider, action and background sound that gives you goose bumps when you watch it.”
