Five North American horses are set to contest Pau at the end of the month, and the remaining two horses who are traveling overseas have gotten underway with their travel.
Lauren Kieffer’s ride, Veronica, along with Erin Sylvester’s No Boundaries departed from JFK last night and will settle in with their grooms while they await the arrival of their respective riders.
The field is a small one this year for the CCI4* event, with just 40 horses entered to run currently. Both Erin and Lauren are coming off of solid preparations for the trip, with Erin improving “Bucky” in the dressage phase and Lauren collecting a second place finish at Rolex this year with her “troll” mare.
Also joining Erin and Lauren in France will be Sharon White with Under Suspection, Clark Montgomery with Universe, and Canada’s Kathryn Robinson and Let It Bee, who will be looking for their first CCI4* completion here.
