Finally at Jersey

After a longer than expected day at the barn followed by a longer than expected drive, I have finally arrived here at Jersey.  Let’s just say that was three hours of my life spent driving 5 miles an hour through DC that I will never get back.  On the upside, I spent much of my drive on the phone learning much more about safety technologies–stay tuned next week for what I learned.

Meanwhile, at Jersey, the Californian domination continued in the CIC2* this afternoon, where James Alliston (now based out of California) took a narrow lead in front of California native Jennie Brannigan.

Humblepie commented this morning that three 2* horses at Jersey–Laura Roberts’ Galway Blazer, Carroll Courtenay’s Windswept and Courtney Sendak’s Will Ya Love Me–are all by the great Connemara Stallion Grange Finn Sparrowby.  Courtney Young wrote more about the three horses at 3D3W, and will have much more great coverage of Jersey throughout the weekend.
The Horse Radio Network announced today that it will host a ParaWebathon to raise money for Para-Athletes at the WEGs.  It will run on June 8th from 7-9PM EST.  More info
