Whatever your connection to Kentucky – whether you’re a competitor or aspire to be one, a groom (or aspire to be one!), an owner, a spectator, a devoted live-streamer – you know it’s the kind of special that’s hard to put into words, and the memories that you make there, or when following along from afar, are memories that’ll stick with you forever.
In a sterling attempt to get us all right in the feelings, the latest instalment in Kentucky’s Behind the Barn series focuses on these extra-special moments, shared by the riders for whom Kentucky is the pinnacle of their life’s work. And look, if you want to spend your Friday evening weeping over a bunch of event riders hanging out in a barn, I’m not going to stop you – I’m too busy recreationally happy-crying over it all myself.
